Canada 150 yrs, Finland 100 yrs...

Canada is celebrating 150th anniversary and Finland it's 100th this year. After touring almost three weeks around Canada during my vacation I admired the attitude Canadians felt about their national identity. It's not highlighting the uniqueness of the nation but every citizen's right to feel Canadian despite their background. Total of 20,6 % of Canadians are born foreign. A vast land of several natives (including the involvement in La Francophonie) sets an example how such diversity can be handled as many nations will face the same dilemma when many people are forced to leave their due to changing living environment.
